What this survey is for
This instrument validates the WP2.1 crosswalk that links 53 Digital Participatory Platform (DPP) features (dimensions 9–16 of the coding book — the features judged “consequential” for interoperability, as opposed to platform-differentiating “unique” features) to 10 types of interoperability after Lalli (2025). For every feature × interoperability-type pair below, please rate whether that feature is Essential, Useful but not essential, or Not necessary for a Digital Participatory Platform to achieve that type of interoperability with other platforms.
Ratings from all panellists are combined to compute Lawshe’s Content Validity Ratio (CVR) for each pair, checked against panel-size-specific critical values. Pairs that clear the threshold stay in the interoperability framework; pairs that don’t are dropped or re-examined. Rating all 530 pairs takes roughly 25–40 minutes; you can stop at any time and send what you have, and your progress is kept in this browser until you submit.
Method: Lawshe, C. H. (1975). A quantitative approach to content validity. Personnel Psychology, 28(4), 563–575. Critical values: Ayre, C., & Scally, A. J. (2014). Critical values for Lawshe’s content validity ratio. Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, 47(1), 79–86.
- Essential — the platform cannot achieve this interoperability type without this feature
- Useful, but not essential
- Not necessary for this interoperability type
